Every year, developer EA Sports changes and adds features to the players in its popular FIFA series in order to achieve greater realism. This year is no different. The newest entry in the soccer franchise, FIFA 15, will improve and add to the way players move, according to a new trailer published by Electronic Arts.

fifa15 new features

First, the short video showcases the changes made to finesse movement. In this year's game, players will be able to dribble the ball with even more control, because they will now take into account balance and positioning. In addition, there will be a number of new stutter and dodge moves which allow you more opportunities to beat defenders.

Most interestingly, the players in-game will move and react like their real-life counterparts. The video highlights Lionel Messi and how, in FIFA 15, he will now favor his left foot as he does in real games.

EA Sports is also overhauling the way the ball moves through the air. Every time the ball makes contact with a player, the ground, or a goal post, its spin will determine where and how fast it bounces off.

The developer has changed tackling as well. When defending a player with the ball, your player will use his body more, attempting to knock the other player off-center. Slide tackles are also improved so that the defender keeps the ball closer to himself after stealing it away from an opposing player. In an effort to increase the physicality of defenders even more, the developer has implemented shoulder bumps, shirt pulling, and other such moves.

FIFA 15 launches on September 23 in North America, September 25 in Europe, and September 26 in the UK. Let's waiting for the great moments !
